I think it's pretty tough but it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all or sumn
Not sure if that was in any way related to what we were discussing but I usually find that if you look hard enough, there'll always be a connection somewhere, just like there will always be a bright spot in our lives, we just have to look hard enough :>
